About This Project

Gainesville, GA

The $25 million Midtown Villages redevelopment involved many partners, including Gainesville Housing Authority and Collaborative Housing Solutions, who worked towards the completion of the 200-unit affordable housing site in Gainesville, Georgia. We provided certification services for the development under NGBS Green to meet the Georgia QAP sustainability requirements. The project is the first in the state to combine the Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program with National Housing Trust Fund dollars (NHTF). In 2022, they were awarded “Best Public Housing Redevelopment” by Affordable Housing Finance.
